Spanish City is the former site of a fun fair and the Pleasure Gardens in Whitley Bay, soon re the home to some of the best restaurants and leisure facilities in the North. To launch the redevelopment, Spanish City needed branding.
Art deco-style branding
In keeping with 1920s architecture, the logo icon reflects art-deco style. The icon mimics on the iconic façade of the building itself. The dome, visible from across Whitley Bay, is well-known. Therefore, it was the perfect visual for branding the new development. To create the luxury feel of the new Spanish City, the logo design is perfect for applying on different surfaces – frosted on to glass, engraved in stone, or burnt into wood.
